What began as a humble project with 80 members in 2014 quickly blossomed into today's Bits & Pretzels global network accelerator for founders.

Today we facilitate over 5,000 thousand top-tier startups, investors, partners, and speakers to join a yearly cause to make Europe a hotbed for innovation and help the most ambitious entrepreneurs build a better future.

President Barack Obama, Jessica Alba, Reid Hoffman, Richard Branson, and Ariana Huffington have attended Bits & Pretzels in recent years. Bits & Pretzels is creating a dynamic platform for European startups to reach their global potential truly. 

Through unique networking and business opportunities, we are powering entrepreneurs with knowledge so they can build world-class products that change the future.

Startup Events GmbH is the company behind the Bits & Pretzels events.

In 2014, Bits & Pretzels started as a small founders' breakfast with only 80 participants.

Today, 5,000 founders, the world's leading companies, and the most inspiring speakers join our annual festival. They share our belief that entrepreneurship can drive positive change in Europe and all over the world.

This extraordinary development was only made possible by a hard-working team. With the belief in our success, we convinced personalities like Barack Obama, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jessica Alba, Reid Hoffman, Ariana Huffington, and many more to speak at our events.

Since 2022 the Bits & Pretzels HealthTech Conference became our first vertical event. In the 2023 edition, 2,500 attendees gathered to celebrate entrepreneurship in the healthtech sector.

At Bits & Pretzels, we believe technology is the biggest leaver to shape a better future. And by serving those who build this technology we try to do our part to achieve this goal.
